The Global Ecosystem Atlas is an open-data resource mapping the extent, change, condition and risk of nature over time.
Explore the AtlasFragmented data can't solve a biodiversity crisis.
Consistent, comparable data across every border and biome.
Built for reporting and disclosure.
From national inventories to corporate supply chains and portfolios.
The Global Ecosystem Atlas is the first platform to bring together national and corporate data into one coherent, harmonised resource. We are mapping the world's ecosystems into 110 Ecosystem Functional Groups, aligned with the IUCN Ecosystem Typology. A precise intelligence layer that recognises nature for what it is, and what it is worth.

Every dataset on the Atlas is freely accessible. Download as CSV, GeoJSON, or Cloud-Optimised GeoTIFF, or query programmatically via the public GEO API. Integrate ecosystem data directly into your own tools and workflows, backed by certified, versioned data with full provenance metadata. No data-sharing agreements. No paywalls.
